SPRING 2019 | 3 Samaritan’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Certified by Industry Leader Samaritan Healthcare’s outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program has been certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Our cardiovascular rehabilitation program is designed to help people with cardiovascular problems—such as heart attacks or coronary artery bypass graft surgery—recover faster and improve their quality of life. The program provides exercise, education, counseling, and support for patients and their families. Our cardiac rehab program opened in June 2016 and is the only program available within a 70-mile radius of Moses Lake. This certification demonstrates our Samaritan values of ‘excel’ and ‘innovate’—we will continue to commit to excellence in our cardiac rehab program.” AACVPR Program Certification is the only peer-review accreditation process designed to review individual programs for following standards and guidelines developed and published by AACVPR and other professional societies.
